I found radio while I was in college - and worked at two different college stations before I graduated with a BA in Radio/TV. I was lucky to find a job at a brand new station outside of Ocean City, MD just a few weeks later.  I worked at OC104 (WOCQ) for 16 years -from the day the station went on the air until 6 weeks before it was sold by the original owner. I worked a variety of shifts and held several positions through the years – including Music Director & News Director.
My next stop was Eagle 97.7 in Milford, DE. I did afternoon news – then morning news in the year and a half I was there. Then I moved to WGMD in Rehoboth Beach, DE, where I am today. I do morning news and the station website, which keeps me more than busy. During the summers while I was in school I worked in a T-shirt shop at the beach. |
