I'm a Jersey Girl by birth. I grew up in Northern New Jersey - in Montclair, a suburb of New York City, until I was 12. Then we moved to historic Morris County, where George Washington slept just about everywhere. We lived there until I finished college.

After college I moved to Ocean City, Maryland and landed a job at a local radio station. Ocean City has been my home away from home since I was a kid. We spent part of every summer there from the time I was 5 until the mid-1970s when my parents bought a condo on the beach so there would always be someplace to stay when we came into town. I worked for several years in a T-shirt shop off the boardwalk until I finished school and joined the full time work force.

After 4 years living in the Ocean City area I headed over the state line to Delaware, where I've lived since 1985.
